I grew up in Michigan and have always loved visiting the Great Lakes, especially Lake Michigan. My family spent summers visiting our friends in Frankfort, Michigan, and I have many fond memories of time spent on the beach, skipping stones, body surfing in the waves, and collecting rocks and beach glass. I would always get so excited to find a unique rock or piece of beach glass, because it felt like I was an explorer finding treasure!
Today, I still love spending time near the water and collecting treasures whenever I can. My hobby of jewelry making took a new turn when my dad gave me his old Dremel drill and I learned how to drill holes in stone and glass. I use drilling, wire-wrapping, image transfers, and industrial strength adhesive to make one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. I occasionally add other natural stones, glass beads, or metal charms to further personalize jewelry for my buyers.
I hope you enjoy wearing this jewelry as much as I enjoy making it!
Thanks for looking!
